This Weeks ICCS 2009 Featured Topic:

YOUR ORGANIZATION AND CYBER ATTACKS

As if IT and security managers didn’t have enough worries in managing their organizations’ networks, there are now daily cyber-threats from a variety of sources.

Join us at ICCS 2009 as we discuss, PROTECTING YOUR ORGANIZATION FROM CYBER CRIME, with Neil Daswani, Ph.D., co-founder of Dasient, Inc., and former security product manager, Google, Mountain View, California.

YOUR ORGANIZATION AND CYBER ATTACKS
Cyber-attacks have plagued Internet progress for years, but have become much more significant as they now result in revenue loss and compliance issues. Learn about emerging cyber-threats due to malware drive-by-downloads, multi-application BOTNETS, next-generation phishing, and discuss how cybercriminals monetize their cyber-attacks. This talk will also discuss Internet-wide defenses that search engines and browsers have put in place to mitigate cybercrime, and what you can do to ensure your organization does not fall prey to losing its revenue or reputation. To read more about YOUR ORGANIZATION AND CYBER ATTACKS and other ICCS 2009 lectures, please visit the official ICCS 2009 website at, http://www.iccs.fordham.edu.
