Ed Skoudis to Speak at ICCS 2010
We are proud to announce that Ed Skoudis will speak at ICCS 2010. Ed Skoudis is a founder and senior security consultant with InGuardians. With over fifteen years of experience in information security, Ed's expertise includes hacker attacks and defenses, the information security industry and computer privacy issues. Ed authored and regularly teaches the SANS courses on network penetration testing (Security 560) and incident response (Security 504), helping over three thousand information security professionals each year improve their skills and abilities to defend their networks. He has performed numerous security assessments; conducted exhaustive anti-virus, anti-spyware, Virtual Machine, and IPS research; and responded to computer attacks for clients in financial, high technology, healthcare, and other industries.
Ed conducted a demonstration of hacker techniques against financial institutions for the United States Senate and is a frequent speaker on issues associated with hacker tools and defenses. He has published numerous articles on these topics as well as the Prentice Hall best sellers Counter Hack Reloaded and Malware: Fighting Malicious Code. Ed was also awarded 2004-2009 Microsoft MVP awards for Windows Server Security and is an alumnus of the Honeynet Project. Previous to InGuardians, Ed served as a security consultant with International Network Services (INS), Global Integrity, Predictive Systems, SAIC, and Bell Communications Research (Bellcore). Ed also blogs about command line tips.

ICCS 2010 Registration Now Open
We are very pleased to announce that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has for a second consecutive year, teamed with Fordham University to bring together global leaders in emerging cyber threat analysis and enforcement. This August 2, 2010, the two organizations will launch the second International Conference on Cyber Security (ICCS 2010) in New York City, the information center of the world.
ICCS 2010 will build on the success of ICCS 2009 and feature eminent speakers, distinguished presentations and vendor exhibits. With the number of cyber threats escalating worldwide, the need for comprehensive security analysis and solutions has reached a critical juncture. Join us at ICCS 2010 for a first-hand opportunity to access and share critical intelligence and valuable experiences on issues shaping the future of cyber security.
This gathering of international cyber security experts will host more than five hundred delegates from countries around the world. Some of the world's foremost experts in cyber threat analysis and enforcement will engage in an open dialog and develop strategies for combating cyber threats across the planet. In conjunction with ICCS 2010, viaForensics will be presenting its Android Forensics Training course at ICCS 2010 on August 2, 2010. After completing the course, you will have six separate techniques you can use to acquire data from an Android device including a full forensic copy on supported devices.
Additionally, in response to heightened demand from cyber security professionals from around the world, the International Conference on Cyber Security (ICCS 2010) is featuring two additional events: the Law Enforcement Workshop (LEW), and the Cyber Security Tutorial (CST). These events will provide invaluable knowledge transfer to this specific target audience. ICCS 2010 participants are highly encouraged to take advantage of these unique opportunities to learn from subject matter experts and share experiences in Emerging Technologies, Operations and Enforcement and Real Life Experiences. These events offer both technical and non-technical sessions and are open to all cyber security professionals.

The LEW and CST are offered separately for a fee of $25.00. Attending the three day ICCS 2010 conference is not a prerequisite to attend the LEW or CST; attendees are welcome to join us on Monday afternoon and evening only.
